Drink This!
We are so loving this 2010 Lincourt Lindsay’s Pinot Noir right now, that we just had to pass it on. For us, it has “that thing!” The thing we often refer to as the aroma of Santa Barbara that we love so much…this perfumed-floral smell mixed with an ocean-spice thing. Sometimes it is hard to put into words, but for us, we think it is also linked to the memories that the wines of the Santa Rita Hills region has given us for so many years.
To start, it is an incredible value that we have found locally at various stores. Such an insane buy that we have found ourselves buying it repeatedly. This Pinot has a great energy to it! The color of bright ruby red with signs of rust forming around the edges. In the mouth…bright red fruits, spice, orange zest, cola, ocean air and fragrant flower aromas. Sounds delicious, right? On a side note, this wine is kind of extra special because it comes from a vineyard that owner Bill Foley named after his daughter, Lindsay.
If you’re in the mood for “that thing” that screams Santa Rita Hills, this is the wine for you. Full of flavor and ready to drink now, go out and get it! We would not steer you in the wrong direction.
Cheers!
