So with that said…this is the official kick-off for “Drink This!” Can’t wait to hear what’s in everyone’s glass. Here’s what has been in ours recently…
We have always been a big fan of Napa Cabs and we absolutely loved this one we had a few weeks ago, 2010 Vineyard 29 Cru Cabernet Sauvignon. It came recommended to us from our local wine shop, La Bodega.
This wine has all the flavors you want from a Napa Valley Cabernet. It’s complex, gorgeous and downright stunning! Big dark cherry, cassis, mocha, anise, tobacco, dried herb and floral aromas burst out of the glass…with identical flavors to follow. This wine’s solid tannin structure shows it is built to last. But heck with that…this wine is drinking beautifully now!
To us, it tasted like a $100 bottle, but this wine is actually half that price. An amazing value if your looking for that special bottle. It would also pair perfectly with a nice dry-aged Filet Mignon. Yum!
Vineyard 29 Cru will not disappoint the Napa Cab lover!
