Down the road from Malibu Wines is Malibu Cafe. What a unique place to have a meal! Located within Calamigos Ranch, they have created this rustic ranch feel all surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds. All dining is done outdoors at this place. Basically, the main grass area lies in the middle and there is smaller sub dining areas all with a different vibe surrounding it. You can dine on the open grass, sit under white and purple parasols suspended from above, eat at a wood planked table under a tree, or upstairs in a more secluded romantic area. Dinners run about $12-$29 and the food is really good. The Butter Lettuce Salad with figs, Manchego cheese, Macrona almonds in a sherry dressing was outstanding. If your in the area, check it out!
