Buellton, Ca.
First stop on the Santa Rita Hills Wine Trail, Alma Rosa Winery and Vineyards. Follow the long gravel driveway to their quaint rustic tasting room, formerly a 1920’s dairy barn. Today we discovered an amazing 2010 Pinot Noir Clone 115 La Encantada Vineyard (Sta. Rita Hills). For us this Pinot is quintessential Santa Rita Hills, a little bit of ocean, flowers and spice. As always, the staff is friendly and very informative. Definitely a must stop on the trail.
Cheers!
