Marina Beach Motel  We have been staying at this place in Santa Barbara, Ca for many years now. The location is perfect! Only one block from the beach and right around the corner from all the action on State Street. Marina Beach is a small place, only 32 guest rooms, but always affordable and important to us these days…kid friendly!  There are many options of rooms to choose from. Many have kitchenettes, some have small outdoor patios, and if it’s couple time, room 30 has a wonderful jacuzzi tub for two.  Marina Beach has a nice garden area in the center where can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or your cup of coffee in the morning while reading a book. A free continental breakfast is offered every morning with a nice selection of pastries, cereals, fruit, bagels, juices and coffee. The staff here at the front desk is always very friendly and accommodating. Marina Beach also has beach cruisers available for use for free during your stay. We’ve enjoyed many great bike rides along the beautiful Santa Barbara coast. We definitely recommend grabbing a bike and heading out along the bike path on Cabrillo Drive and checking out Stearns Wharf, the beach, the parks, the harbor or you can even bike to The Santa Barbara Zoo. It’s worth taking the time and doing this one day. We have found that their rates are always the best around town for all that Marina Beach has to offer and you just can’t beat the location.
